Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Medical Assistant-Corrections to work at a facility in Greenwood, WV. These are registry positions with our company.
Weekly Gross Pay $14.60 x 36$525.60
Weekly Travel Stipend - Non taxed - (Lodging $560 and M&I $210)$770
Total Pay Weekly ($770 is not taxed) $1, 295.60
Blended Rate $35.99
Shifts:

• nights, 8PM - 8: 30AM, EOW/EOH, 36-hours a week

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Medical Assistant
• Must have up to date certification in the state of WV
• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history
• Update and maintain all client records
• Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory
• Administer prescribed medications to patients
• Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
