As a business developer you will be targeting accounts with 30 full time employees and will need to be within the automotive manufacturing space.
Responsibilities
  • 80% of your time will be spent in new business development focusing on the state of Michigan.
    • Prospecting accounts that meet company requirements (30 FTE needs) within the manufacturing, distribution, logistics and warehouse space.
    • Ability to build relationships, identify C-level decision makers, schedule client meetings, negotiate contracts, strong listening skills to understand the challenges of clients with the ability to provide a solution to resolve client challenges.
  • 20% of your time will be spent researching, inputting information into the system, following up on: meetings, contracts, etc.
  • You will be responsible for developing in multiple verticals:
    • IT
    • Engineering
    • F&A
    • Commercial
  • Sourcing, qualifying, and cultivating sales leads into new business opportunities within the Light Industrial/Manufacturing/Distribution/Logistics verticals focusing on business with 10 or more contingent staffing needs.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to a diverse client and candidate portfolio
  • Executing on the organizations sales processes to ensure that a diverse book of business is being cultivated in the market.
  • Partner with the branches and recruiting partners on leads, pricing, and proposals on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Maintain regular and consistent contact with customers to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop a sales penetration plan.
  • Segment account base by opportunity for growth and potential for risk
  • Develop relationships with all customers buying influencers.
  • Develop complete understanding of customers business, goals, and objectives.
  • Help to drive continued and strategic growth of branch in the market.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 Years industry experience selling to larger accounts in IT, Engineering or F&A
  • Experience selling large accounts at a 45% markup.
  • Will target accounts with staffing needs of 30 people or more.
  • Significant exposure/familiarity or time working within the Light Industrial, Warehousing, Logistics and Distribution verticals preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint necessary and prior use of applicant tracking/data management and maintaining an ATS/CRM
