Currently, StaffBright is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Clinton Township, MI area. We're looking for individals with 3 years of experience performing diverse activities including general accounting, management reporting, managing a finance team, and planning & analysis. Ideal candidates will have worked in public accounting and moved to corporate setting.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage a small accounting team.
• Assists with the maintenance of fiscal records by supervising transactions related to accounting and budgets.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and complete monthly close.
• Responsible for the operational aspects of financial reporting.
• Assists with technical, tax, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow, sales/bookings, and expense projections.
• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting analysis on revenues, costs and investments.

What We Need From You:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills.

• 3 years in a finance/accounting role.
• 2 years managing an accounting/finance team.
• Bachelors degree in finance and/or accounting.
• Experience in corporate and some public experience.
• CPA preferred
