Ensure full compliance with State and Federal laws, as well as internal policies and procedures governing medication handling, dispensing, and distribution.
Review patient profiles in the pharmacy system to fulfill prescription orders accurately and completely.
Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
Handling insurance claims and managing billing processes.
Filing and maintaining prescription records as per regulatory requirements.
Coordinating with healthcare providers to verify and update prescription information.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both customers and the Pharmacists.
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and records.
Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Awareness of safety and cleanliness standards in a pharmacy setting.
Assist the logistics team in packaging and shipping medications and supplies to uphold workflow commitments to customers.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1 years of experience working in a Pharmacy or Customer Service environment.
Consistent focus and attention to detail resulting in superior accuracy.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 30 lbs.) in compliance with safe handling procedures.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate pharmacy systems and Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks or collaboratively in a team setting while maintaining focus on detail, accuracy, and productivity.
Education
High School Diploma
Additional specialized training as a Pharmacy Technician or Support preferred.
