Position: Desktop Support Technician
Duration: Permanent
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL area
Must-Haves
- Two years of Desktop support experience supporting both windows and MAC environments
- Audio Visual troubleshooting Experience
- Ability to go on site
- Providing deskside support as well as 'remote in' support
- Experience supporting both laptops/computers as well as mobile phones (iphone)
- Having basic network installation knowledge.
- Ability to travel roughly 50%
Day To Day:
The Desktop Support Technician will be supporting the senior level executives in any hardware and software related issues. The person should be confident in troubleshooting both PC's as well as mobile devices. The environment is primarily a windows environment, but there is a growing MAC footprint that will be (phones, ipads, macbooks) . Some break/fix or rebuild responsibilities, as well as standard hardware and software troubleshooting, along with some ad hock migration / upgrade projects all will be apart of the scope of work. Given that this individual will be supporting and interacting directly with executives of a fortune 500 company, an extremely high level of professionalism, accountability, and communication is required.
Travel will be in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area and sometime to Indianapolis, IN.
Total compensation range: 150-190k
