Staffers is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Jackson, MS

JOB DESCRIPTION

Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Job File Maintenance
  • Enter budget line items on job file in Foundation Software
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical job files with billings and payments
  • Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
  • Set up billing items- either through AIA, Standard or Cost-Plus billing
  • Email Project Managers a weekly billing calendar
  • Prepare billing worksheets for project managers
  • Pull job cost reports
  • Enter Job billings
  • Process all cash receipts
  • Prepare and mail customer statements monthly and contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices
  • Generate and deliver reports to project managers/owners as needed
  • Additional task as assigned by Controller to support accounting operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suites, with specialty to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Weekly pay- Payroll period is Wednesday to Tuesday, pay day on Friday via direct deposit.
  • Vacation - 1 weeks after 6 months employment; 2 weeks per year after one year employment
  • Personal time off for doctor visits, family emergency, etc... - equal to vacation days.
  • 401k - match employee contribution up to 4%. (eligible after 6 months, enrollment dates are Jan 1 and July 1)
  • Health insurance (medical, dental and vision) - full family coverage paid for by employer
