Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a General Machine Operator for a well-known manufacturing company located in Fall River, MA. The ideal candidate will possess 3 or more months of previous related machine shop experience.
Location: Fall River, MA
Payrate: $18.50 - $22.00
Responsibilities of the General Machine Operator:
- Operate drilling, reaming, tapping, and deburring equipment, press and broach machines to form, extrude, broach, pierce, and trim parts to predetermined requirements.
- Check parts at intervals using gauges to ensure they match prints.
- Keep SPC data with ongoing gauge conformance information and inspect all machined components using necessary equipment
- Record quantities completed and move parts to the next work center after the operation is done.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
- High school diploma/Vocational school diploma
- 3 or more months of related machine shop experience
- Ability to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 60 lbs on a regular basis
- Awareness of standard warehouse safety procedures and protocols
