Hello, we are looking for Medical Assistants to join our team in Maple Grove, MN. Please see the details below:

• Setting: Clinic
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/26 OR 09/02
• Schedule: 10hrs/shift, Monday - Friday: 7:15a - 5:30p (40 Hour Guarantee)
• Pay: $25/hr

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout clinic
• Standard rooming processes
• Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given)
• Provide telephone support
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers
• Assist with medication refills
• Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)
• Stocking supplies/rooms
• Perform EKGs

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 1-year experience in a patient-care setting
• EKG Experience - Preferred
• EHR Experience - Preferred
• Blood Draw Experience - Preferred
• Medical Assistant Diploma - Required
• MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
• BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
