Job Description
You'll partner with the leadership team to focus on employee development, and automation within the plant.
You'll lead a HR generalist, including mentoring and helping them grow. You'll work very closely with the General Manager, Financial Controller, HR Director, EHS Manager and other key business leaders to:
- Provide a workplace with good communication
- Support the hiring of hourly, contract, and salaried staff
- Create employee engagement initiatives
- Implement strategic workforce planning
- Ensure legislatively compliant workplace practices
- Facilitate organizational design and change management initiatives
- 5 years managing HR generalists
- 2 years working in manufacturing, material handling, or parts preferred
- Able to work onsite daily
- Well versed in state and national employment law
- Undergraduate degree
