We are searching for an experienced Sr. Accountant for a trusted financial company in Avon Ohio. This position is an instrumental role and helps conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced and friendly accounting office. The accountant prepares tax returns, completes bookkeeping and financial statements, research tax questions, and counsels clients on tax problems.

Salary: 100K Bonus

This position has the opportunity to work a Hybrid Schedule during off season.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist client with payroll specific questions.
• Documents client contact/calls.
• Works with payroll administrator to complete live payroll.
• Manage the process of monthly, quarterly and annually reporting regarding to payroll for clients.
• Financial records: Ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations, and resolve discrepancies.
• Taxes: Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure taxes are paid properly.
• Financial statements: Review for accuracy and prepare financial reports.
• Financial operations: Assiss operations, identify risks and challenges, and recommend best practices.
• Monitor budgets and calculate employee paychecks.
• Answers questions and provides readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing the relationship.
• Assist payroll administrator to complete monthly invoicing and posting payments within client accounts.

• Proficient with Ultra tax, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:

• Work experience as an accountant
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA) is a plus
