Healthcare Data Specialist, Albany, NYDHPCO - 1050Summary:This individual will assist senior staff in the New York State Department of Health, Division of Health Plan Contracting and Oversight (DHPCO). Working within the Bureau of Managed Long Term Care with the System’s Team, the candidate will provide support for existing and new federal and state reporting requirements, audits, operational surveys, and enrollment issues.Job Duties to Include:Analysis of data to respond to state and federal reporting requirements.Track reports and deliverables.Perform data queries.Develop MLTC charts and visuals for website posts and projects, as needed.Other activities as may be deemed necessary in response to the changing needs of BMLTC.Additional Qualifications:Working knowledge of Medicaid data.Proficient in multiple software programs, especially Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.Strong analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills.The ability to think creatively and strategicallyBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5 years of professional experience
