Job Description: Program Manager (Clinical Stage – Early Asset Development)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – In Office a few days a week)
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to join our team and lead the clinical development strategy and execution of our new assets. This pivotal role will focus on early-stage development through to commercialization, managing a cross-functional team to ensure seamless coordination and successful program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Design and manage the clinical development program for new assets, overseeing all phases from early-stage development to commercialization.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and manage a cross-functional team of in-house members, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across departments.
- Coordination with Clinical Trial Manager: Work closely with a Clinical Trial Manager (likely outsourced from a designated CRO) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of clinical trials.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement clinical development strategies, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive program success, including coordination with the Senior Director of the PMO and fitting within the Clinical Umbrella.
- Focus Area: While the primary therapeutic area of focus is Auto-Immune, candidates with strong program management experience in clinical development across different therapeutic areas are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Program Manager in early-stage clinical development programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills in clinical development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
