Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner
- Fabricate parts or components as needed
- Weld or solder components when necessary
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage maintenance projects and teams
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance, including knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair machinery and equipment malfunctions
- Welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and inventory management
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including experience working with motor controls and logic controllers
