staffing4us is Hiring an Infection Control Nurse Near Pella, IA

Position: Infection Control Nurse

  • $50 /Hour , 13 Weeks Contract,36 Hours/week

Shift info : 7p-7a, every 6th weekend (fri,sat,sun)

  • 1 year of experience as Infection Control Nurse required
  • Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • BLS Certification required
  • ACLS Certification required
  • Iowa state RN License required
  • Graduation of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.

Job description

  • Collaborates with the health care team using evidence based practice, demonstrating accountability, respect for patients, families and coworkers, while providing safe and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate.
  • Directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care. Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.
  • Assessments includes: neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and the geriatric patient.
