Night Shift (7:30 pm - 6:00 am, Mon - Thu with OT on Fri & Sat)

Pay rate: $22-$24/hr

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you'll specialize in the setup and operation of CNC Lathes and machining centers. Utilizing your expertise in machine shop theory, procedures, and mathematical concepts, you'll contribute to the production process with precision and efficiency.

Essential Job Functions:

• Study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine workpiece dimensions and tolerances.
• Execute a sequence of operations as per router instructions.
• Set up machines by selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, weighing up to 50 lbs., frequently.
• Monitor machine operations for malfunctions and adjust controls as necessary.
• Verify dimensions and alignment using measuring instruments such as micrometers and height gauges.
• Collaborate with engineers, team leaders, and others to resolve machining issues.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and team leaders to coordinate activities.

Job Requirements:

• Preferred experience with Doosan Multi-axis Lathe or a minimum of 5 years experience with lathes.
• Proficiency in GD&T and G&M codes.
• Commitment to quality and adherence to safety policies.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to serve as a role model.
• Reliability with an excellent attendance record.
• Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and bending.
• Ability to exert between 10 and 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
