Salary: $90,000 per year
Schedule: Day shifts with flexibility to cover other shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct production staff to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety standards.
- Assist with plant safety programs, third-party audits, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Manage machine scheduling, inventory levels, and spare parts procurement.
- Oversee equipment installation, relocation, and rebuilding as needed.
- Communicate effectively with upper management and coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of management experience in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills and expertise in manufacturing operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks (climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing).
- Experienced in timekeeping, PTO approvals, and attendance tracking.
