Job Title: Software Engineer
Shift: 1st 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

- Client is a vertically integrated Manufacturing Corporation using many different types of software. Examples include C , WordPress, Cobol, Solidworks, Autocad, PLC, G codes to name a few.
- Use scientific and mathematical principles to create and maintain computer software that solves problems and meets business needs.
- Work in a dynamic environment that's constantly evolving due to technological advances and organizational direction.
- Planning-Software engineers plan the scope and order of work for a project, including the full software development lifecycle.
- May also plan and scale distributed software and applications.
- Designing-Software engineers design architecture, including tools and frameworks to automate development, testing, deployment, and management.
- May also design and write code for operating systems and software.
- Developing-Software engineers develop computer instructions through algorithms and create databases or programs for internal or online use.
- May also recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs.
- Testing-Software engineers test both hardware and software systems to identify issues and common patterns, and to diagnose and resolve faults.
- May also ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing.
- Documenting-Software engineers document the process through diagrams, flowcharts, and models.
- Maintain documentation and track, document, and maintain software and network system functionality.
- Supporting-Software engineers may provide support and training, and revisit the development process to address client or consumer concerns.
- Have a thorough understanding of computer systems, including hardware limitations that could impact software design.
- Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer programming, software development, mathematics, or a similar field.
- May gain employment with a high school diploma and 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- General housekeeping and cleanliness
- Performs other duties as necessary
- BSME or Equivalent.
- CAD skills a plus.
- C , WordPress, Cobol, Solidworks, Autocad, PLC, G codes
- BOM experience a plus.
- Hands-on mechanical experience a plus.
- Ability to interact with vendors and customers.
- Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Weekly pay - Every Friday
