Job Description
A manufacturing company located in Milwaukee is looking for a billing specialist for a 3-6 month contract-- the right person could become a full time employee. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of billing and invoicing in a high volume environment, project billing experience and be able to communicate with the quoting and estimating department.
Responsibilities
- Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
- Process expense reports from employees Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner
- Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
- Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1 - 2 years experience in accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing
- Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills
