Staffworks Group has immediate openings for Composite Technicians in Bristol, RI.
This is a permanent, full time position and pays $18-$22/hr based on experience
***Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening***
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of composite structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applications.
- Prepeg and wet layup fabrication techniques, including vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing.
- Resin infusion.
- Working with engineered drawings.
- Fabrication of tooling and master patterns from epoxy tooling blocks, carbon fiber and wood.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of composite fabrication and process control.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and laminae schedules.
- Past experience in advanced composite fabrication and assembly.
