Desktop Support Specialist (ServiceNow, Windows, Audio/Video) (Onsite, Harrisburg, PA)

We are currently recruiting a Desktop Support Specialist for our client, a Commonwealth PA entity. The focus of this role is to provide high-level desktop and end-user support for the client which consists of approximately 300 users and to support the daily operation of several bureaus within the building including AV conferences, board meeting support, users accessing the licensing registration application and many other public services enabling utilities by assuring desktop configuration, connectivity, and user access is operational.

This contract position is long-term with funding approved until 6/30/2025. Further extensions are likely, and funding is approved every 12 months, 40 hours per week role. This position is 100% onsite at our client's offices located in Harrisburg PA. The preferred candidates MUST reside within a reasonable commute, locally in the Harrisburg, PA area.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act independently, work in team environments and have a highly advanced proficiency and competence in a variety of IT platforms and technologies.

• Troubleshooting of the Windows and some limited Mac operating systems, COTS applications as well as numerous in-house developed applications, VPN connectivity issues, VDI connectivity issues, software removal and installation, hardware replacements and distributions, printer setups, basic networking issues, imaging desktops/laptops, and working with vendors to coordinate onsite repairs.

• Support Audio Video PolyCom technology and TEAMS meetings. In addition, support board room meetings, which require onsite support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 years of experience with ServiceNow and understanding of asset management system

• Experience with Windows OS and O365 Office products

• Experience with hardware desktop, printer, scanner, video

• Knowledge of software basics

• Experience with imaging workstations using SCCM

• Experience with VPN setup, support, and install
