.NET Web Application Developer (Healthcare, ASP.NET, SSIS/SSRS) (Hybrid, Harrisburg, PA)

We are currently recruiting a Web Application Developer for our client, a Commonwealth PA entity. The focus of this role is to provide software development services, operational support, and software build and release services for systems support for client team.

This contract position is long-term with funding approved until 7/31/2025 and further extensions are likely with funding approved every 12 months. This position is mostly remote, 40 hours/week, with occasional onsite visits at our client's offices located in Harrisburg PA. The chosen candidate will need to report onsite during the course of this engagement. The preferred candidates MUST reside within a reasonable commute, locally in the Harrisburg, PA area.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and support Laboratory Certification and other interfaces and systems used by the client through the following daily activities: system error monitoring and resolution, system code fixes, data fixes, and data validation.

• Troubleshoot performance issues at the server, applications, and database levels.

• Develop new and modified software code per business requirements that conform to client's best practices and standards.

• Assist in all software build and release activities for the client system, Laboratory Certification System, Laboratory Web Portal integration, and other interfaces and systems used by the client.

• Assist in technical support activities related to the transition from the old system to a new one.

• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation that conforms to the client's best practices and standards.

• Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) established by the client.

• Utilize Azure DevOps for SDLC workflow and software code repository.

• Provide status reporting conforming to intervals and standards mandated by the Applications Developer Administrator.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years of experience in web-focused, data-driven software development using Microsoft .NET 4.5 or higher and SQL Server.

• 5 years designing and maintaining complex SQL Server databases, SSIS and SSRS solutions, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and TSQL are required

• 3 years of experience in developing web-focused, data-driven software development using Microsoft's Entity Framework.

• Experience in Web application development with Razor pages is highly desired.

• Experience with Visual Studio, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET/WCF, HTML/CSS/JavaScript., XML, XSLT is required

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Windows Server 2016, IIS, and PowerShell is required

• Experience in the Healthcare industry (focus on health information technology), HL7 messages, and Rhapsody Integration Engine is highly desired.

• Experience in Federal, State, and Local government is highly desired.
