About the Job

As a project leader and exemplary executioner of the Strategy Creative team vision, a Strategist, Content demonstrates a strong strategic and creative foundation. They actively collaborate with clients and colleagues, pairing strategic precision with intentional creativity ​to create resonance in every output.

The Candidate must be able to...

Strategic Thinking & Planning

  • Actively shares recommendations, ideas and strategic points of view with teams
  • Develops strategic plans and other documents for internal and client review
  • Displays ownership of and passion for client projects. Stays up to date on competitors, industry and subject matter. Makes proactive, strategic recommendations based on developing news and insights.
  • Experiments with ideas and iterates new ways to improve client programs, agency marketing and new business efforts based on key findings, feedback and results
  • Understands the role our agency capabilities play in the broader scope of client business.
  • Collaborates with client business leaders and partner agencies
  • Uncovers the needs, wants, concerns and touch points of the target audience
  • Gathers and synthesizes category information, trends and issues using primary and secondary research
  • Provides strategic direction, insights and inspiration that fuels distinctive, compelling brand expression for our clients
  • Considers cultural trends and current events and the context in which the output will be experienced and makes smart recommendations on strategic execution.
  • Actively supplements knowledge and experience to expand capabilities. Shares tips and insights with larger team as applicable

Creative Expertise

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of visual storytelling. Applies design best practices to visual outputs and can adapt to changes in format, media and approach based on feedback and learnings.
  • Collaborates with the client, content and account teams to produce great ideas and the visuals that bring them to life
  • Leverages agency creative processes to serve as an advisor to internal teams, confidently contributing to ideation sessions and providing constructive counsel to refine and improve outputs
  • Creates different types of visual content for clients and projects that reflect a high-level understanding of each client or project’s core needs, nuances and long-term strategy

 Account Management

  • Establishes trust, maintains strong client relationships and owns discrete strategic projects from start to finish
  • Work with supervisors and to establish and meet both internal and external project goals and deadlines
  • Manages projects independently and analyzes the efforts within the context of the overall program
  • Takes responsibility for overseeing junior staff and supervising defined projects, advising and educating junior staff on areas of expertise

 Business Development & Marketing

  • Assists in organizing new business presentations and developing agency marketing and thought leadership collateral
  • Conducts research and synthesizes key insights to develop creative and strategic briefs
  • Supports development of agency POV on client challenges and business opportunities

 Administrative

  • Begins to understand financial aspects of client projects and finance processes including billing, vendor management and invoicing based on client budget
  • Proactively participates in team activities and contributes to a positive culture at KWT Global
  • Demonstrates competency around agency operations, office procedures (e.g. job numbers, billability and expense reports) and resources (e.g. brand guidelines, tools and subscriptions and best practices, etc.)
  • Enters time accurately and consistently

Our Ideal Candidate

Minimum of 3 years' experience

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000
