Position Summary

As a vital member of our team, you'll be responsible for various fitting-out, mounting, wiring, decaling, and installation tasks on a range of truck bodies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cutting and installing rubber using glue or clips.
• Installing lock cylinders, door holders, trays, shelves, and tailgates.
• Mounting doors, fenders, tailgates, and lids.
• Fitting bumpers, hitches, ladder racks, and windows.
• Wiring utility bodies according to engineering specifications.
• Mounting utility bodies to engineering standards.
• Installing additional options as per engineering specifications.
• Ensuring the quality of products leaving the yard.
• Maintaining and utilizing required tools, including air tools, torches, hand tools, tape measures, glue, and tape.
• Adhering to all safety and housekeeping protocols.
• Fulfilling any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven decision-making capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Effective and professional communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• One year of sheet metal experience or related experience preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
