Stair South, Inc. is Hiring a Project Manager Near Macon, GA
This job is located in Eatonton, Georgia. This is a hybrid role, with time in the field and in a home office, along with mandatory weekly Monday morning meetings in the main office.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects in Divisions 5-12 from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Monitor project progress and set deadlines/installation dates
- Troubleshoot and actively resolve arising jobsite issues quickly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with the GC operations team to ensure the project is on track
- Ability to take field measurements
- Process submittals, RFI’s, change order proposals, progress billing submissions to internal office, timesheet management, subcontractor billings, monthly reports, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Requirements:
- Overnight travel by car and/or air will be required on occasion
- Must be able to read and comprehend shop drawings/building plans
- Must be able to multitask on multiple projects in various states of the construction process
- Strong knowledge of Multifamily Construction Management and metal/fabrication trade
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
