Common patient diagnosis: CHF, clean caths, arrhythmias, chest pain, weakness, STEMI, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrhythmia requiring antiarrhythmic medications, AICD discharge or malfunction, Rescue BIPAP/CPAP with compromised gas exchange, Drug toxicity, ETOH withdrawal, DKA/adult insulin, Pericardial catheter, Chest tube management, Post-operative revascularization, Septic patients, Post Cardiac Cath patient.
Required to float to like units - PCU and MS

We serve Northern New York Clinton, Franklin and Essex counties offering a 24 hour Emergency Care Center, comprehensive cardiovascular services, interventional radiology, comprehensive cancer care centralized at our FitzPatrick Cancer Center, Joint Care Center, a Progressive Women & Children Center and a Family Medicine Center.
Residencies and training include: Family Medicine Residency, Nurse Residency, Clinical Assistant Program and the CVPH School of Radiologic Technology. Students from 3 local nursing schools and the University of Vermont Larner School of Medicine benefit from clinical rotations here.
