Reporting to the Vice President of Nursing Services, the Sr. Director Clinical Operations is responsible for programmatic & strategic responsibilities across several clinical areas (ICU, IMCU & Emergency Department) including interdisciplinary collaboration internally and or externally, financial, quality, and patient experience responsibilities. Responsible for supporting, mentoring and coaching nurse managers and other nurse leaders following the core leadership competencies of AONL. Ensures shared governance and the foundation of the Magnet standards are enculturated throughout.
Responsible for Organizational and or Nursing strategic plan development and execution
Developing, monitoring, and adherence to annual operations and capital budgets for multiple units or - departments
Oversight and or Management of interdisciplinary projects and initiatives to meet strategic initiatives and goals
Responsible for organizational clinical education and professional development across a number of disciplines and manages all clinical affiliations for Nursing
Responsible for Patient experience, quality, regulatory and safety oversight over multiple departments

Qualifications
- Connecticut state RN license required
- Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare administration
- ANCC acknowledged Nurse executive certification, certification in area of specialty preferred
