We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and the Spring Framework, with substantial experience in cloud infrastructure and containerized services. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop and deploy scalable applications, leveraging a variety of AWS services.

Basic Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in the field.
• Must have hands-on experience developing with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Must have hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure as well as different AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, CloudFormation.
• Must have hands-on experience developing containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Must have hands-on experience with NoSQL databases as well as with relational databases.
• Must be proficient at dealing with support requests and/or troubleshooting.
• Must have experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience deploying Java based applications on AWS EKS Clusters is a plus.
• Experience building low latency and high throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Be comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks is a plus.
• Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a plus.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $73 - $83/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
