JobDescription :

The PlatingTechnician is responsible for setting up and maintaining platingbaths and related equipment including fixtures hand tools andmeasuring instruments.

Key duties include monitoring parts as theyprogress through plating baths maintaining the plating line(including tank additions cleanliness and chemical storage) andpreparing and processing parts through various plating lines suchas hard chrome plating.

Requirements andQualifications :

A high schooldiploma or equivalent proficiency in basic math attention to detaileffective communication and critical thinking skills.

The candidatemust be able to read write and understand English safely utilizeand wear PPE gear (such as a dust mask steel toe boots and safetyglasses) and work around caustic and corrosive chemicals.

Physicalrequirements include the ability to sit climb stoop kneel crouch orcrawl lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 poundsoccasionally and have 20 / 20 vision with or without correctivelenses.
