JobDescription :

The Powder CoaterPainter is responsible for applying durable and protective finishesto various surfaces using specialized powder coating techniquesensuring highquality results in manufacturing and otherindustries.

What youll bedoing :

• Clean andprepare surfaces by removing contaminants rust or old coatingsusing materials like abrasives solvents orchemicals.
• Select the appropriate powder typeand color and operate equipment to apply the powder evenly onsurfaces.
• Use an electrostatic charge to ensurethe powder sticks evenly to the surfaces.
• Placecoated objects in an oven or curing chamber to melt and solidifythe powder creating a durable finish.
• Check thefinished coatings for any defects and make necessarycorrections.
• Keep the equipment clean and ingood working order to prevent issues.
• Keeprecords of the materials used job orders andinspections.
• Adhere to safety guidelines wearprotective gear and handle hazardous materialscarefully.

MustHaveQualifications :

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Previousexperience in powder coating or a related field is aplus.
• Knowledge of different types of powdercoatings and their applications.
• Familiaritywith powder coating equipment andtools.
• Ability to interpret job specificationsand instructions.
• Attention to detail andcommitment to quality.
• Strong problemsolvingskills for identifying and addressing coatingdefects.
• Physical fitness for standing andlifting heavy objects.
• Good communication andteamwork skills.
• Understanding of andcommitment to safetyprotocols.
