We're looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to support Stand Together Foundation and a pipeline of new and innovative technology projects, building across a cross-disciplinary team of strategists, data scientists, designers, and developers who believe in people and the power of technology to help people transform their lives and society. Our team seeks to build a series of ambitious products and services to improve the social sector and help ensure that philanthropic and public resources are targeted to individuals and communities who can benefit from them the most.
As a Sr. Full Stack Engineer, you will utilize your skills and business acumen to work with internal and external partners to understand multi-faceted technology and business processes and help drive the delivery of new products. You will use process mapping best practices, visualization tools, and knowledge of technology to clearly lay out requirements and process maps on key processes and workflows.
To thrive in this role, you will engage with humility, curiosity, and strong organizational skills to bring visibility to complex business operations and workflows, and then partner as a consultant with stakeholders and developers to inform innovative solutions.

What you'll do:
•Work in modern technologies and frameworks

Knowledge & Skills You Bring to the Organization

• At least 6 years of experience in either frontend or backend web technologies and a strong interest in learning technologies across the stack
• Experience leading software engineers or other technical practitioners
• Passionate about user experience
• Knows and cares about sound product delivery practices like continuous delivery, automated testing, and test-driven development
• Willing to fail fast and continuously iterate
• Values high quality, maintainable code, collective code ownership, and continuous improvement
• Curious and collaborative, open to occasional pair programming and mentoring/learning from others
• Low ego and willing to learn
• Inclusive and open minded
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of cloud platforms with deployment experience in at least one platform (e.g. AWS)
• Experience with SQL a must NoSQL preferred but not required
• Have professional experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and tooling, like Next.js, Express, Storybook, or similar
