As an Operations Analyst, you will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for managing and delivery a broad range of production planning and analysis for the site including but not limited to material forecasting for future jobs, scheduling requirements, and manhour/capacity planning. 

Position Requirements:

  • Works with Operations, Management and Supply Chain on implementing strategic directives. 
  • Assists in planning day to day operations to support Operations in assigning manpower needs.
  • Provides analytics to help balance company goals (cost, utilization and delivery) and ensuring that control measures are in place as needed.
  • Coordinates with and provides a liaison function with sales, production, engineering, finance, quality and customer service to ensure production standards and goals are achieved. 
  • Actively participates with the sites management team, assisting with the development and realization of the site’s strategic plans, budgets, goals and objectives. 
  • Serve as a key internal resource for new ERP system processes; may be required to be a trainer for other sites in future rollouts.
  • Implement the StandardAero continuous improvement concepts (CI) within the site and manage ongoing CI projects using systems available.
  • Develop and maintain planning tools for capacity and material needs.
  • Carries out special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 10 years professional experience within aviation.
  • Proven planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, oral and written skills.
  • Proven project management skills and track record for being a strong team player.
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs; must have intermediate to expert MS Excel skills. Must have experience working within an ERP system environment utilizing inventory control and production management modules.
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience is desirable.
  • Must have at least 5 years of production planning experience within an aviation MRO environment
