Commercial Roofing Project Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our dynamic team. 

Job Summary: The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing roofing projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional roofing solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Project Planning and Coordination: 

o Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. 

o Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications. 

o Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. 

2. Team Management: 

o Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff. 

o Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and monitor progress. 

o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

3. Budget and Cost Management: 

o Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and expenditure tracking. 

o Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. 

o Monitor and control project costs to prevent overruns and ensure financial objectives are met. 

4. Quality Assurance: 

o Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship. 

o Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and safety protocols. 

o Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly. 

5. Client Communication and Relationship Management: 

o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. 

o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. 

o Conduct post-project reviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

6. Safety Management: 

o Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety policies and procedures. 

o Conduct safety meetings and training sessions as needed. 

o Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.

Qualifications: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. 

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing project management. 

· Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques. 

· Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. 

· Proficiency in project management software and tools. 

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings. 

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. 

· Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
