Standard Roofing, a prestigious roofing company with a 126-year legacy, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Roofing Senior Superintendent to join our team in Oklahoma City. This role is essential for overseeing onsite operations specific to commercial roofing projects, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and managing workforce efficiency.

Job Summary: The Commercial Roofing Senior Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing roofing projects to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to deliver exceptional roofing solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities:

Safety:

· Develop and implement job-specific site safety plans tailored to commercial roofing projects, in collaboration with safety personnel and the project manager.

· Conduct regular safety inspections of commercial roofing sites, identify hazards, and take corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.

· Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings focused on commercial roofing safety protocols.

· Proactively identify and acquire necessary safety equipment for commercial roofing projects.

Quality:

· Ensure the quality of commercial roofing installations and workmanship meet manufacturer specifications and details.

· Conduct quality checks on all commercial roofing projects and complete final inspections before job completion.

Workforce Management:

· Develop leadership and supervisory skills among superintendents and foremen specializing in commercial roofing.

· Oversee and approve labor hours, payroll, and overtime for direct reports working on commercial roofing projects.

· Address workforce issues to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity within the commercial roofing team.

· Set and monitor production rates to ensure commercial roofing project schedules and budgets are met.

Field Resolution:

· Identify issues specific to commercial roofing construction, propose effective solutions, and implement corrective action plans.

· Maintain clear communication with team members, customers, vendors, and suppliers regarding commercial roofing projects.

Job Planning, Execution, and Closeout:

· Develop comprehensive construction plans for assigned commercial roofing projects.

· Ensure cleanliness and organization of commercial roofing job sites.

· Monitor material application rates to minimize waste and adhere to manufacturer guidelines specific to commercial roofing.

· Generate daily progress reports and adapt plans to meet customer needs and timelines for commercial roofing projects.

Other Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Pursue continuous learning opportunities and develop relationships with clients, vendors, and product representatives in the commercial roofing industry.

· Provide prompt responses to emails and voicemails.

Licensing/Certifications:

· Preferably hold a degree in Construction Management or a related field.

· Minimum of 15 years of commercial roofing experience.
