Job Description

As an industrial cleaner team member, you will be responsible for operating various equipment to clean and sanitize the paint operations area.

Job Brief:

We’re seeking a new team member that is highly motivated and organized who also enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on working environment.

Industrial Cleaner (Paint Line) Duties & Responsibilities:

· Cooperate with staff members.

· Maintain cleaning equipment and communicate any potential issues to management.

· Ability to use grinders with brush cups, chisels, hammers and/or additional hand tools to perform cleaning duties.

· Ability to perform light maintenance duties.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and understanding of various cleaning agents and containers.

· Clean in paint operations area (paint booths, paint ovens, etc.)

· Work in confined space to remove paint build up from paint booths, tunnels, aisleways, decks, etc.

· Work at heights to clean and sanitize robotics, glass panes, windows, and booths.

· Must wear proper PPE: steel toe footwear (OSHA approved), dust mask, safety glasses, respirators, paint suits, safety gloves, etc.

· Perform repetitive physically demanding tasks including bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling, scrubbing, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing and walking.

· Follow and abide by all company safety practices, policies, and procedures.

Requirements And Skills:

· Ability to work independently, have safety at the top of his/her mind, and have the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

· Clean in paint operations area (paint booths, paint ovens, robotic cells, etc.).

· Work in confined space to remove paint build up from paint booths, tunnels, aisleways, decks, etc.

· Work at heights to clean and sanitize robotics, glass panes, windows, and booths.

· Able to follow quality standards on a consistent basis.

· Attentiveness, focus, strength, and stamina are key traits needed for this process.

· A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
