Position Title: Distribution Production Manager

Reports to: Director of Distribution

Classification:  Full-time, Exempt

Pay: $80,000-95,000 annually

This is an exciting opportunity within our Distribution or Supply Chain team. 

This position will be primarily responsible for:

Production Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the production line to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Resolve conflicts and ensure effective communication within the team.

Quality Control:

• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Address any production defects or issues promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to by the production team.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Address any safety incidents and implement corrective actions.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products and reorder supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Along with other duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years in managing production or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• The ability to partner and collaborate with others in leadership and team.
• Strong emotional intelligence.

Candidate Preferences:

• Bi-lingual in Spanish
• Union experience

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 25% or more sitting, 50% or less walking, and 25% or more standing. The job is performed under occasional temperature variations. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 45 lbs. is required.
