The Job:
As a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations, 2nd Shift, you'll be part of our Industrial team working as an on-site employee. You'll get to:

• Responsibility for coordinating and managing production for the machining operations.
• Responsibility for production schedules to achieve operational objectives for hourly, daily, weekly and periodic KPIs.
• Provide direct, hands-on support in shop floor requirements and activities. The supervisor is to coordinate with maintenance, tooling, engineering and all other cross functional departments to ensure the production schedule adherence; report or escalate for prompt problem solving; ensures employees are accurately trained, assigned specific duties, coached, disciplined, and rewarded.
• Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace.
• Ensure employees are trained on production procedures and practices
• Review variable costs, productivity, earned standard hours and throughput daily and implements effective recovery or corrective actions when targets are not achieved
• Actively participate Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to increase efficiency, productivity and machine utilization while reducing overall cost.
• Provide manufacturing expertise if and when problems arise.
• Support and improve upon quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals.
• Manage preventative maintenance performed by production employees.

The Person:

• B.S. or B.A. Degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years Manufacturing experience (aerospace, fasteners, machining backgrounds preferred)
• Supervisory experience leading teams of 40 people; Performance management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of organization, especially with direct employees.
• Quality focused & production driven.
