Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Construction Inspector for our Phoenix, AZ office.

This position will provide construction observation/inspection for civil infrastructure improvements including water/wastewater collection/distribution facilities, roadways, drainage facilities, and underground utilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Performs on site-daily observation of the contractor's construction work and compares the work product to the project's approved plans and specifications.
• Prepares reports documenting progress of the Contractor’s work.
• Reviews the quality of the contractor’s work.
• Maintains daily logs of inspections and reports. Review any discrepancies with the proper parties.
• Facilitate Construction Progress Meeting and prepare/distribute meeting minutes.
• Communicates all issues with the proper project team members expeditiously.
• In the course of business, the member will be required to operate a company vehicle. A mandatory prerequisite to operating a company vehicle is maintaining an acceptable driving record.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• 4-Year construction management degree, and 0 - 4 years of construction related experience OR
• Associates degree in construction management program with a minimum of 5 years of construction related experience OR
• No degree and a minimum of 10 years of construction related experience in a field applicable to the work assignment.
• The ideal candidate will have construction experience within the City of Phoenix and/or Town of Gilbert.
• Materials certifications (ACI, ATTI, NASSCO etc.) are preferred, but not required.
• Inspection experience in the construction of water/wastewater collection/distribution facilities, the construction of underground utilities, and pipelines, and transportation related construction.
• This job requires good communication and documentation skills (MS Word, Internet) and an individual capable of performing with minimal supervision.
• A general knowledge of construction techniques and an ability to read plans and specifications is mandatory

Base Compensation: $29.38 - $37.79
