Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Visual Designer to join our Corporate Communications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling content that enhance our corporate brand and employer branding and effectively communicate our company’s messages to various stakeholders. The Visual Designer will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing materials, presentations, internal communications, and digital content. The role reports to the VP, Corporate Communications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Design. Develop and design a wide range of corporate communications materials including internal communications, newsletters, reports, presentations, training materials, and social media graphics.
  • Brand Management. Ensure consistency in branding across all communication channels and materials, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Content Creation. Develop creative concepts and design solutions that are visually engaging, and optimally elevate Stanley’s brand presence. Design multimedia elements, contribute with innovative ideas, and improve design quality and effectiveness. Maintain an organized library of design assets and templates.
  • Project Collaboration. Collaborate with internal teams including Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, and Product to support various communication needs. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to projects. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks optimally, and meet deadlines in a high-growth environment.
  • Vendor Coordination. Coordinate with external vendors to produce marketing materials. Ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in graphic/visual design, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other design software.
  • Portfolio/website showcasing visual brand design work.
  • Excellent understanding of brand identity, design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Exceptional creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and tackle design challenges.
  • Experience with digital design, including web and social media graphics.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, tight deadlines, and evolving project requirements while maintaining a high level of integrity and quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take creative direction and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient working in web-based platforms, like content management systems (CMS), email service providers (ESP), and digital asset management tools (DAM).

Salary Range:

$90,000-$110,000

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Stanley is a total rewards company, which includes rewards beyond base salary. At Stanley, full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual results.
