Looking for an outgoing and friendly face to join the team at Star Dog Salon. We're looking for someone with proficient customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and efficient technical skills.

It will be a part-time position that will become fulltime in September, Basic dog knowledge is highly preferred.

Work days: Wed-Sat, 8:30am to 5pm

Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1-year experience as a receptionist.
• High proficiency in working with all kinds of dog breeds, as well as basic knowledge of breeds.
• Ability to work in administrative computer software such as Word, Excel, or Outlook.
• The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Excellent customer service and skills.
• Consistent professional presentation and pleasant demeanor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints.
• Managing phone calls
• Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing appointment schedules.
• Ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and professional.
• Processing transactions and issuing receipts.
• Performing administrative tasks such as filing, and updating records

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Phone etiquette: 1 year (Preferred)
• Front desk: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
