The Home Equity Loan Processor position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.

As a Home Equity Loan Processor essential responsibilities include:

• Reviews Underwriting approval and produces pre-disclosures within regulatory timelines.
• Orders title insurance, appraisal, and flood certifications.
• Maintains status updates on outstanding items as progress continues, such as title insurance, appraisal orders, homeowner’s insurance, etc.
• Clears all conditions with the title company as needed to set up a closing.
• Completes Verification of Employment and review of homeowner’s insurance.
• Initiates and maintains a thorough working knowledge of nCino and LaserPro and can competently assist co-workers.
• Monitor’s closing request queue and schedules closings with lenders.
• Works closely with Consumer Underwriters related to approval conditions.
• Maintain a current working knowledge of all internal policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations.
• Create and provide accurate documentation to STAR policy to lenders for closing.
• Continuing training and education to adhere to Home Equity regulations and compliance.
• Secondary review of documentation prior to submission for closing.
• HMDA filing for approved, withdrawn, and declined Equity loans.
• Post-closing audit of all Equity loan packages.
