We are seeking motivated organized individuals to help us in our continued growth.Job Description : The Inside Sales representative will be part of a team that will contact our current client base to generate additional sales opportunities.
In addition, making new contacts outside our current database is vital for company and personal growth. These tasks will be done by synchronizing efforts with other departments in the organization to help facilitate the selling process.
These operations include but are not limited to the following responsibilities.Responsibilities : Achieve sales targets by managing new & existing accountsContinuously research new customers, update and track contactsResearch buying groups & selling groups in our Food industry (TBD)Project competency and confidence in dealing with different channels of distributionOrganize daily / weekly / Monthly calls, introduction letters, and follow-ups in the Database and calendarWork with support functions both inside and outside of Star Foods (including other departments, logistical support, and online research tools) to address current and future needs of customersQualifications : Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphereExcellent written and verbal communication skills are a mustAbility to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization, including ownership, management, co-workers, customers, and vendorsMust be highly organized and able to prioritize tasksA self-starter who can multi-task, with an awareness of deadlinesPrevious experience with computer databases preferredPrevious experience working in food distribution / customer service preferredStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office : PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Reports To : Sales Manager & CEOHours : Monday Friday 8 : 15 am 5 : 15 pm 401K and Health coverage availableFull-Time position, Salary Commission
