Class A/B CDL Driver

The Manhattan Transportation team is seeking a ***Class A/B CDL Driver*** to join our team.

The ideal candidate is customer oriented with demonstrated experience of timely and accurate deliveries. This driver is responsible for the safe operation of all material handling equipment, vehicles, and the transportation of various building materials.

***This is not an over the road driving position.***

**Your typical day**

Complete deliveries of building material products in and around the Manhattan area.

-Products include lumber, siding, windows, doors, cabinets, decking and more.

Proper loading and unloading of materials at store and customer jobsites.

Accurate logging of delivery stops and DOT time tracking.

Follow all DOT safety policies and requirements.

Requirements Class A or B CDL license with satisfactory driving record.

Physical ability to load and unload materials on/off of the truck or trailer.

Willing to work and drive in all weather conditions.

Must meet all DOT Requirements and DOT Clearinghouse Qualifications.

Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

18 Years or older.

Reliable transportation.

Follow all PPE requirements.

Overtime as needed.

**Preferred Experience**

Ability to obtain clearance to deliver to military bases.

Knowledge of lumber and building materials.

Forklift or Moffett Experience.

Knowledge of Manhattan and surrounding areas.
