Star Wipers/Action Supply Products in Gastonia, NC is currently seeking a motivated, career oriented and responsible individual who has the ability to learn, execute and lead a variety of processes inside of a manufacturing and distribution environment. The position has the opportunity for growth within the company. Schedule is 1st shift, Monday-Friday. Pay is commensurate with experience with a salary range of 70,000-$90,000 a year.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Learn and manage all aspects of our maintenance, packaging/production and distribution departments
• Enforce the important of maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Plan and coordinate daily department activities
• Ensure that Efficiency and Productivity Standards are being met and/or exceeded
• Effectively communicate with and mentor 20 team members
• Establish, maintain and reinforce policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily work-flow

Requirements:

• Work well with and lead others
• Ability to learn and retain quickly to continually grow within the position and company
• Strong organizational, communication and relevant computer skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work extended hours if needed
• Forklift and Purchasing experience a plus
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
• Desire to maintain long term employment
• Be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and be able to push/pull a cart weighing 150-700 lbs
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Have earned at least a H.S diploma or equivalent
• Work independently with little to no direction
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish an asset
