Job Summary: The Accounting Clerk will manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Maintain vendor records and address inquiries.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.
- Accurately enter and update financial data.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Maintain organized records of all AP transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Skills:
- Basic accounting principles knowledge.
