Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and coding
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Correspond with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for invoices and related documents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
- Provide support for special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven 2 experience in accounts payable or general accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Availability to work on a temporary basis for the duration of the assignment
