Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
- Deployment and Management: Deploy and manage virtual machines, networks, databases, and other Azure resources to support business applications.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance, availability, and security of cloud infrastructure, optimizing resources and costs.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security best practices in Azure, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and implement disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity in the event of a failure.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network configurations, and application deployments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Azure services into application development and deployment workflows.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, tools, and best practices to continuously improve cloud solutions.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure services such as VMs, Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
- Security: Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
