Location: Multiple Locations (Chicago and Suburbs) Pay Rate: $19-20 Hourly. Position Summary: We are currently seeking experienced ARMED Security Officers to work as Flex Officers for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, they have the desire to be successful and demonstrate great leadership skills, great organizational skills, are detail-oriented, articulate, and exemplify excellent customer service. This is where you are available at any time when needed. Candidates must also be available to work weekends and holidays. Must have reliable transportation to travel to different sites throughout Chicago and Suburbs. We will make every effort to give advance notice of assignments for open shifts. About the Job: We are looking for a fit and attentive Security Officer to ensure that our clients property and assets are protected. The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the property, maintaining a visual deterrent while enforcing our clients policies and state law. Arrest and detain in the event of a crime happening in your presence. Security Officer Responsibilities: Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to. Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property. Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs. Report to supervisors regularly. Record any suspicious activities with the supervisor. Maintain daily activity reports. Write incident reports as necessary. You must be alert and professional.
Security Officer Requirements: A high school qualification or equivalent. State PERC License, FOID, and Armed 230 Training. Basic first aid skills would be advantageous. Physical strength and fitness. Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous. Attention to detail. Must have a firearm, duty belt, and all your armed licenses up to date.
