Description

The Marketing & Business Development Team at Stark & Stark has an opening for a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing & business development activities for the attorneys and the Firm. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, thrive in a team environment, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset. The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing & Business Development.

Responsibilities

This position will provide support for department initiatives to support the marketing and business development efforts of the Firm and the Attorneys. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate content on social media.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Facilities teams to plan, promote and execute firm events.
  • Assemble various marketing materials and pitches for Attorneys, events, and other firm activities.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing & Business Development with business development activities, including preparing proposals and responses to RFP's and conducting competitive research.
  • Process and document marketing expenses.
  • Maintain databases such as client feedback and CRM.
  • Maintain marketing promotional inventory.
  • Assist with the placement of articles in newspapers, business and trade publications, and online, as well as securing the reprint rights for press and attorney bylined articles.
  • Prepares nomination details for submissions to various outlets.
  • Manage client gifting initiatives.
  • Work with the team to maintain regular reports regarding marketing and business development activities.
  • Posts appropriate business development and marketing-related information on the firm intranet.
  • Assists the Director of Marketing in preparing for meetings and in compiling monthly reports.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications

  • Represent the firm by attending and supporting events.
  • Able to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Able to write clearly and concisely with strong ability to proofread.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Canva and photoshop.
  • Familiarity with website content management.
  • Experience using digital marketing tools strongly preferred.
  • Excellent ability to research and extract information from various data sources.
  • Need to be adept at handling multiple tasks and organizing priorities in a dynamic, high-speed setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some travel required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience.
