STARK is seeking a Showroom Logistics Rep in our Troy, MI showroom. The incumbent is eligible for medical, dental, vision, FSA, transit/parking benefits, 401K, and PTO benefits.

Job Responsibilities:
- Organize sample returns and distribute them to their appropriate slots in the sample room.
- Replenish sample shelves and order cuttings as needed.
- Assist in filling incoming sample requests.
- Assist the Inventory Manager by learning and utilizing the AS 4000 system.
- Memo rugs to clients, transfer rugs to other showrooms.
- Troubleshoot rug histories and locations.
- Assist Inventory Manager in conducting rug and sample inventories as needed.
- Receive and identify shipments to the showroom.
- Ship rugs and samples via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Common Carrier. Domestic and International.
- Tag rugs shipped directly to our showroom from consignment vendors.
- Assist the Inventory Manager to inspect and photograph all incoming rugs. If any rugs are soiled or damaged, communicate with Inventory and Showroom Managers, arrange for repair or cleaning when required.
- Pull and prepare rugs for shipping, show & tells, or client approvals on memo or transfer.
- Assist Account Managers in presenting our full-size rugs to clients in the showroom.
- Assist Account Managers in locating and shipping rug and carpet samples.
- Help maintain the showroom merchandising, re-hanging sample blankets, making space for new product.
- Sweeping, trash disposal, and other maintenance as needed.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Must possess a pleasant demeanor, interpersonal skills and the ability to follow directions and speak in a clear, articulate manner.
- Frequently communicates with coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must possess good time management, organizational and priority-setting skills
- Have the ability to remain composed when faced with competing priorities
- Have the ability to manage multiple assignments or tasks through to completion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Interest in the design industry is preferred.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail
