Responsibilities: Position will be responsible for servicing service accounts and determining/improving underwriting risk quality, profitability, and retention performance. Position would also execute individual account regulatory compliance requirements. Position would serve as a technical and industry resource for underwriting and assist with overall state regulatory compliance requirements. This position is responsible for conducting underwriting desktop, telephone, and site surveys; determining the quality of risk; supporting account/book profitability; supporting underwriting engineering requirements; recommendation tracking; account service requirements; managing 3rd party service providers; regulatory requirements; and supporting profit center business acquisition and retention. Requisitions: Bachelor's degree 5 years of engineering/loss control experience in the Construction industry Strong background in the Construction industry and casualty insurance lines of business Strong account management and servicing experience Comfortable working directly with underwriters, brokers, and insured's Planning and negotiation skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Advanced proficiency in computer applications- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Some travel required. Our ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of the Commercial Construction Industry, and casualty insurance lines of business. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with underwriters, brokers, and insureds.
